Registering Pesticides in Missouri

View the Missouri Pesticide Registration Act (281.210-281.310 RSMo.).

Missouri has begun accepting pesticide registrations in electronic format. We are requiring electronic labels be submitted in PDF format. Electronic labels may be submitted on CDs or by e-mail.

All new registrations must have an Application for Registration of Pesticides signed and submitted to our office. If labels are e-mailed, please put a note on the Application for Registration of Pesticides form indicating the date the labels were e-mailed. Upon approval of your application, confirmation of registration will be returned to you as proof of registration.

Include a check with the application form to cover the registration fee of $15.00 per product. Checks should be made payable to the MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. At this time, we are NOT able to accept electronic payments.

Any label submissions (new registrations or label updates) may be submitted by e-mail to pestlabels@mda.mo.gov or on CD to:

If you do not have the capability to submit labels electronically, we are currently continuing to accept hard copy labels.
