Director of Agriculture Announces Missouri’s Farmers’ Market Week in St. Louis

Katie Smith, director of the Missouri
Department of Agriculture, will be visiting and speaking at the
Soulard Farmers’ Market in St. Louis announcing Missouri
Farmers’ Market Week Aug. 5-11, 2007. This announcement coincides
with the National Farmers’ Market week and is a time to celebrate
the producers contributing to farmers’ markets in Missouri.
St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay will also be present to provide remarks.
