Governor, Director of Agriculture Visit Missouri Farmers and Agribusinesses

| WHAT: |
Gov. Matt Blunt and Katie Smith,
director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture, are visiting
Missouri farms and agribusinesses across the state to speak to
farmers and community leaders regarding agriculture issues and
opportunities.
On the tour, Director Smith will visit a beef farm, meat processing
and retail facility, a biomass energy plant, tour a farm with flood
damage, visit a dairy farm, a wood products manufacturer and tour
a vineyard.
Gov. Blunt will wrap up the four-day agriculture tour with an agriculture
issues summit in Southeast Missouri on Thursday, July 26 and Monday,
July 30. |
