New Generation Cooperatives
- The Missouri Agriculture and Small Business Development Authority (MASBDA) provides up to a 50% tax credit for producer investment in New Generation Cooperatives through the New Generation Cooperative Producer Tax Credit program. To be considered an eligible “New Generation Cooperative” under the MASBDA program, a producer-group must be organized as a Missouri cooperative under Chapters 274 or 357 of the Missouri Statutes. Additionally, the business must be considered a “development facility” or a “renewable fuel production facility”, which are defined in Chapter 348 of the Missouri Statutes. For information about the New Generation Cooperative Producer Tax Credit and other MASBDA programs, call (573) 751-2129.
